Time for some recent stuff that caught our ears here at For The Sake Of The Song headquarters. All the tracks in this refreshing ten pack either came out recently or will be released in the very near future.
O man, can´t wait for that new Tunng album. But don´t stop there, we´ve got a lot more excellent tunage here. Try the intimate sound of The Fools for instance, a very promising girl duo from New York City. Or take the crispy folk rock of Timothy Cushing from Maine, the lush dreampop of Californians Avi Buffalo, the Baltimore country of Paul Masson...
Hell, just check ´em all out and if you like what you hear, please support the artists in question. Go to their shows, buy their albums, start a fanclub, fall in love. Promise?

Sorry all, but the Tunng track was taken down for copyright infringement and all that crap. Didn´t expect this from a small, friendly independent label, especially since you can download this song for free on their website... Losers.

Thank you for dropping by, Ryan. I like your stuff a lot.
The track by the Fools was also deleted for copyright reasons. The band sent me their stuff for review themselves... I´m really getting tired of this shit.
The reaction of The Fools: "Not sure what this is. Our label is just us and I know we didn't send this. The song is ours, we wrote it, so not sure what to say". Weird scenes inside the goldmine, baby.
And another one gone due to a copyright infringement issue. Timothy Cushing sent me his music himself to feature on the site if I liked it. Wtf is going on here?
The Avi Buffalo track gone too due to copyright infringement. Sorry folks.
Paul Masson´s a goner too, for same reasons. Sent me the track himself... Guess I´ll have to refrain from posting about new music for a while.
