Initially I ruled it a draw, but in the end the latter´s characteristic voice won out. After seeing sweet mother K.D. perform in the Village for the first time, Neil proclaimed that "she did Blues On The Ceiling (which is my song) with so much feeling that if she told me she had written it herself, I would have believed her." And isn´t that the highest praise a singer can possibly get?
