Just got the sad news that Pat DiNizio passed away last week. The leader of New Jersey powerpop combo supreme the Smithereens was just 62. Miss him.

Just read that British based reggae artist Michael Prophet has passed away too, at just 60. A sad end to the year.
Shame that. Michael Prophet made some fine roots music with Yabby You at the helm. Thanks for the update, Swede.
