Just bought tix to see the wonderful Hiss Golden Messenger on their upcoming Euro tour, and on a double bill with Scotland's folk pride Alasdair Roberts at that. That rules! Tunes, you ask? Good combination. As well as his own stuff, Mr Messenger does a nifty line in cover versions. Here is a ropey clip I took of him doing Gary Stewart's "Drinking Thing" when he played in London last year.
